Summary
He thinks it got Will once. The evidence is scattered at best, but it is there. His body was back, sure, and he was warm unlike before. He looked like Will. He acted like Will.
But that thing is not Will.
It can’t be.
It has to be… He doesn’t quite know.
Mike is determined to find out what it is. He cannot tell anyone, because they will think he has lost his mind. And maybe he has, but he cannot find it in himself to care.
Or: The eerie Mike Wheeler fic where you follow him on his telling of events while he is on brink of insanity. He does not know what, or who for that matter, is real anymore. He starts a journal while he mentally deteriorates about it. Includes the post-apocalyptic, midwest, small town horror vibes that season five should have had.
