The most amazing thing I have read this year😭
If there must choose one tomarry fic to read, id pick this one...
too amazing and i dont have any words to describe it...everyone just read it ok?😭The patricide scene was already so insane I was basically reading it on my knees, but the part later where Harry uses his own rib to make a body is even more shocking 😇😇.
With these two, it honestly feels like they’re constantly trying to outdo each other in who can deliver the most unhinged declaration of love. Their relationship in this story is incredibly twisted, yet somehow deeply healthy at the same time. The 'twisted' parts only exist from the outside perspective—people see over‑reliance, or accuse them of being cruel and callous. But for them, what they have is a bond that even more stable and selfless than family or romantic love. There's honestly nothing healthier than a connection that unbreakable.
And I genuinely love the idea that they each carry a fragment of the other's soul inside them. That trope gets me every single time. It's so lovely sweet.

Tom and Harry went to school together and were incredibly close—basically partners in crime and soulmates 🥺. They even went on a graduation trip together, and thats very romantic...but later Tom realizes that Harry doesn't support his pursuit of immortality, so he lures him into an ancient ruin and kills him. Such a Tom thing to do… 😱 (though it's also because Tom cares about Harry too much that if he can't have him, he'd rather destroy him.
Harry eventually comes back as a necromancer. When the two of them meet again, they hurt each other without hesitation—but because they love each other so much, neither of them can truly bear losing the other. That moment Harry kisses Tom while stabbing him is just insanely intense 😭.
The writing is really brilliant. Harry has always believed that all things must eventually die, while Tom is obsessively chasing immortality. Even though Tom killed him once, Harry never kills Tom in return. Part of it is because he truly loves him—but another part is that Harry already understands something Tom doesn't: in the very end, he will be the one to lead Tom toward the death that belongs to both of them.
