If you'd told Verse two months ago that it wouldn't be long before the highlight of her day would be tagging along as the most expressionless person she's ever met did paperwork, you would have kept your tongue long enough for her to ask, just out of curiosity, why you thought it was a good idea to just walk up and start speaking nonsense to a Scarlet Fury.
She'd still take your tongue for pointing it out now, of course, but she can at least admit to herself when she's wrong. So she likes watching people squirm on the point of the boss's glares. So what? It's not the weirdest thing that's changed for her, in all this chaos.
