Summary
They're looking up from their own work, one hand placed atop what she now can see is a set of manga panels and the other holding a pen loosely. Their soft, green eyes are wide behind their glasses, as if they didn't expect her to turn around. The strands of hair falling out of the pins frame their face, meeting the rest of their hair just past the nape of their neck, which is covered by a black knit turtleneck. A brown sweater hangs loosely around their shoulders.
Pretty, she thinks. A light blush blooms across their cheeks, making her realize she had said it out loud.

Matsukawa's head tilts. He shoves his hand in his pocket and pulls out a clip. It's green, Kentarou's favorite color, and has a cartoon frog's face on the end. His chest tightens in want at the sight of it.
"Do you want one?" He reaches his hand out, offering it to him.
Kentarou's fingers fist in the fabric of his jersey as he pulls it out of his locker. He does want it. He wants it so badly.

Summary
In a world where pro heroes are gods, their chosen humans are revered. Hitoshi has never seen the bright capital with its collection of Lineages. Who cares, anyway? The gods certainly don’t care, not for the humble peasants like Hitoshi. He is going to go somewhere far away from his tiny village and open a cat rescue. Just as soon as he can get away from his parents.

Victoria chuckles. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Samira says. “My mom used to insist on oiling my hair every single time I left the shower. Supposed to be…ritualistic. My friends used to always complain about their moms doing the same thing, how it was such a hassle. But I honestly find it relaxing now.”

Summary
Whatever existed between Chuuya and Dazai—whether it was love, or hate, or something else entirely—died in the dark of the mafia. It was left behind to wilt and rot, and now, there’s nothing left. Chuuya might have loved Dazai once, but those days have long since passed, and they know Burnett’s ability didn’t latch on to any sort of lingering affection there.
Besides, if Dazai were the subject, Chuuya’s feelings wouldn’t be unresolved or unstated anyway. Dazai knows exactly how Chuuya felt; he just wasn’t capable of feeling the same.
Which leads to the real problem—
The guy Chuuya actually needs to confess to can’t fucking reciprocate their feelings either.
chuuya gets hit with an ability that gives them hanahaki. this might be easier to deal with if it didn't require confessing to someone who: 1. will know what's up as soon as he looks at them, and 2. cannot love them back
