“Uh, thanks?” John tried to turn his jaw back, to relieve some of the pressure. Bob’s grasp was too tight, the edge of his nails pressing into John’s skin. “What are you doing, Bob?”
“I’m not Bob.”
He looked up to meet Bob’s intense gaze, to the speckles of gold buried within it. “Sentry?”
John just got home from a mission. Sentry wants to play with him.

their rising success throws them straight into the crossfire of thunderbolts politics, new avengers bureaucracy, and valentina allegra de fontaine’s truly unhinged idea of “mentorship” and "branding".
the young avengers can only watch and sigh as they manage to deal with threats more effectively than two entire teams of properly-funded, fully adult avengers. maybe the world really, really needs the young avengers. like, desperately. please, the avengers(squared) are going to kill eachother before doing literally anything of help.
OR kamala is getting together her own super-hero team: the young avengers. it goes surprisingly well. art first.
