Across the Atlantic Ocean, Phoenix Wright wakes up with the worst hangover of his life. He thinks he called Edgeworth last night, but he doesn’t remember why or what he said. Hopefully it wasn’t anything weird.

“Hey, Edgeworth,” slurred Phoenix Wright, drawing out the y sound in hey, like a flirtatious young woman. “How ya doin’, buddy? Thought—thought I’d give you a call. But it looks like I missed ya. Just my luck.” He sighed, and Miles could practically smell the alcohol on his breath through the speaker.

Summary
Viktor receives an experimental pain medication from his doctor, which would be wonderful, if not for one problem—someone else must administer it. Though reluctant, Viktor asks Jayce to help him. Then, there’s a second problem—the medication’s greatest side effect is making Viktor incredibly aroused. Jayce can help with that, too.

“Does it hurt?” Jayce rasped, his tongue heavy and wet in his mouth, his pounding heart almost drowning his own voice.
Viktor tipped his head toward Jayce, just enough that over his sharp, jutting shoulder, Jayce could see the glistening tears collected at the corner of his eye. “Yes.”
Something seized inside Jayce, pooling low in his belly. Something not unlike desire. Jayce depressed the plunger, watching as the serum disappeared inside Viktor, who let out a small, breathy whimper. A groan of pleasure followed soon after, Viktor’s boney hand curling into a fist on the desk surface.

Viktor had never been late before. Jayce only arrived late once or twice, always after a particularly strenuous function where he’d gotten a little too drunk. Panting and sweaty, Viktor burst into the lab, the door already unlocked.
“Jayce, I am so sorry! I—” His voice died in his throat when he realized he was alone.
Their desks were a mess. Drawers left pulled out, papers scattered over the floor, ink spilled over blueprints.
