Summary
The Zodiac of Bill Cipher has always been a curious thing, brought together by key events and individuals. Things are different in a fragmented dimension though. Or rather, things are different in a dimension holding the last fragment of Bill Cipher. Respite and hope won't come easily to the members of this cosmic prophecy - not in the least to the Pines Family, who must , as they always do, save the world.

Stanley Pines punched too hard. The guy goes down, drops dead. Which, well, not great. Wasn't he supposed to feel a whole lot more guilty about this? He’s frowning at the copy of “Slaughterhouse-Five” that has somehow been classified under Historical Fiction when he hears the bell above the door jingle. Jon makes his way through the narrow shelves and stacks of books to the front desk, where a man is standing. He looks rather harried and a bit out of breath, glancing around him. When he spots Jon he gives a worried smile.
“Hi there,” he says. “You, uh, you haven’t seen a dog, have you?”

Tim looks at him carefully. The scruffy, angled curve of his jaw. Soft cheeks. Those marks from his glasses. The blush creeping down his neck. There’s a deep affection blooming in his chest, then, for a long, lingering, treacherous second. Dangerous. Lovely.
“Oh, right now?”
Martin shakes his head. His hair bounces all over the place. “No, I – tomorrow. Can you do tomorrow?” as if either of them has plans anymore. Like they have to check. Like either of them goes out or sees anyone aside from anyone working there, now.
The shoe’s about to drop, probably. The last shoe. Tim says “yes.” He doesn’t regret the word.

He’s thinking about Martin driving down the dirt road towards the intersection where dirt turns into asphalt, one hand steady on the wheel, the other leaning against the door. Patient and quiet. Maybe he’ll listen to the radio. Maybe he’ll listen to his own music.
In these thoughts he’s always there with him, sitting to the left of him, looking out the window looking for cows or sheep or horses out in the fields, eager to point them out or just describe them if Martin doesn’t want to take his eyes off the road. Or looking slightly to the left of him, singing along to whatever song comes on. He always knows the lyrics to the songs that come on, in these thoughts.
