Summary
“I want to make something clear,” Peter says, softly. She slides her mask up, barely: just her mouth. His eyes slide to her lips and stay there. “Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean we’re in different playing fields. We’re in the same fucking playing field.”
“That won’t be an issue,” Deadpool says, shortly.
“That’s good,” Peter says. It feels like there’s a thread around her ribs, and with every word the thread goes taut, stretching.
“And,” She touches him, lightly, one finger on his cheekbone. “Don’t think you can relax around me.”
Deadpool breathes out a pained laugh. “When have I ever been able to fucking relax around you,” He says, and the thread snaps.
She can lift her eyes to the rooftops and picture two figures, grim sometimes, laughing, leaping through telephone lines, touching the horizon. The cursed symmetry of it all: a girl who cannot fall, a man who cannot die.

Abby says something indistinct over the music. Max makes a face to indicate she couldn’t hear and bends closer. Abby leans in. The ends of her hair tickle Max’s collarbones and she has to remind herself to breathe. Sometimes when you’ve been feeling sick for so long you stop noticing it at all. It’s the same thing with the effect Abby has on her; sometimes she thinks she’s grown used to it. Other times it hits her like a fever spike.
Abby says, in her ear: “You’re so quiet these days.”
Max rears back. The sick feeling is all throughout her body now.
OR: how I think S4 should go, featuring fucked-up teenage decisions, Brodie's basement (again... and again...) and stupid, helpless, crazy girls.

In his mind, he sees her, her dark hair splitting into two neat braids on either side of her thin neck, her pinstriped arms, the deep shadows of her eyes; she would not let anyone insert a microchip into her body; she would not, or could not, be made docile.
Tyler is different. Pliancy seems to come naturally to him.
Today is the day he is going to leave.

Summary
“Really,” Gilbert says to Andrew, after Andrew’s bruised his knuckles on Moody Spurgeon’s pimply face. “I ask you, is this violence necessary?”
“He said I would make a pretty girl,” Andrew says, mutinously. His eyes flash, a gray that looks like churning river water: spuming, deadly.
“Well,” Gilbert says, reasonably. “He isn’t wrong, you know.”
He dodges the kick.

Summary
Tom says: “Harry.” Her spine straightens. Tom says: “That’s a boy’s name.”
“Tom,” She returns, her voice nasty. “That’s a Muggle name.”
Tom hisses out between his teeth, but he’s a leashed tiger in the summer and she knows it. Her lips curl in a mean grin, and then she’s stepping close, so close he can count the individual eyelashes, the freckles on her sunburnt cheek. Green, green eyes.
OR: Harry, and Tom, together, in an attic, in the 40s. This cannot end well.

Summary
Here's what we know: Lily Evans, after years of badgering and bad courting attempts, dated and married one James Fleamont Potter.
Here's what we know: Regulus Black, after years of slow separation from his popular, effervescently Gryffindor brother, died a slow drowning death, alone and friendless and forgotten.
Here's what we know: Severus Snape lost his only friend in a moment of humiliated, misdirected, anger and spent the rest of his life closed-off and spiteful, hating himself- his life - his job - his decisions - but with no choice but to drudge drearily onward, to honor Lily's last sacrifice.
But. What if.
In this universe, an alternate and dazzlingly parallel world, Lily Evans, a girl who has fought and raged and will not fucking lose her best friend to the capricious smiles and dazzling arrogance of the blood-purists looks over, glances, really, at a table hung with green and silver, meeting gray eyes with her own poison-green.
I wonder, Lily thinks, alight with hatred for James Potter and something else; maybe, Lily thinks, and pulls Regulus Black from the depths.
So spirals a bifurcation. So springs our story.

"No one understood the perfume
of the shadow magnolia of your belly.
No one knew you crushed completely
a human bird of love between your teeth."
Gacela of Unforeseen Love, Federico Garcia Lorca
"I give the pain of a fresh lily
for a heart of chalk.
All night long, in the orchard
my eyes, like two dogs.
All night long, quinces
of poison, flowing.
Sometimes the wind
is a tulip of fear,
a sick tulip,
daybreak of winter.
A wall of difficult dreams
divides me from the dead.”Gacela of the Remembrance of Love, Federico Garcia Lorca

Summary
When Harry succumbs to dementors in Little Whinging, the last thing he expects is to wake up and find Tom Riddle’s face staring back at him in the mirror.
It only goes downhill from there.
(In which Harry learns: if Voldemort had been like an atom bomb, Tom Riddle is the biblical forbidden fruit, succulent and fragrant and filled with an insidious rot that just may kill him.)

Whatever way you look at it, James Potter is seriously cool. And this is coming from a Slytherin, mind you. A Malfoy Slytherin, no less, and you hate the Potters. It's in the blood. Except, apparently, it's really not.

Summary
There is no moment of realisation.
No sudden, flickering light.
It sits heavy, iron in the blood, a magnetic pull—there’s a boy with a flop of dark, propping himself up against the rungs of his crib and she thinks, as her heart starts to beat steady and sure—
Oh, there you are.(In which, Harrie and Tom grow up together and the past (or the future) is a not so distant thing.)

Summary
Just what the world needs, another Harry and Hermione fall in love in the tent fic. But! Hopefully this is done with heart and definitely no bashing.
They were a few spots away from the last location they were together with Ron, but it didn't stop Hermione from glancing up at the sound of breaking twigs, or the rustle of leaves, or the quieter whispers of wind. By some animal instinct, every time she glanced up he did too. He couldn't help but think of frightened deer, their ears pert and rotating, eyes focused, alert, listening for wolves. The main difference for them was that they wanted the wolf to come.
His glanced away from the empty forest to Hermione's dark eyes, still searching. "He won't find us." He used the sharp tone again, he still didn't mean it that way.
Her eyes moved to his, injured, her mouth bowed in pain. He felt a stab of remorse. To his surprise she moved closer to him instead of turning away. Their spheres of sadness had been separate the last few days, their moroseness quiet, however loud it felt inside his head.
