Summary
Hermione survived her fifth year at Hogwarts, and the torture that Umbridge unleashed on her. As Dumbledore and Voldemort's truce comes together, everyone begins to prepare for the war they all know is coming. Umbridge is still at large, and Hermione has learned who the 'Boss' is, but at a price.
Being in 1927 London isn't all it's cracked up to be. Hermione needs to find a way home, back to her mates, back to her family. Being forced to team up with a group of people that are at odds with one another, can Hermione manage to get home without changing the future too drastically? Not everything, or everyone, are as they seem. As Hermione races to find the two women that had arrived years before her, she must bring this group together in order for them all to survive, while trying not to destroy the future.

The man towers over him, his breath tasting of coldness and fury. Harry had always known that there had to have been a significant reason, why the hat had sorted him into Gryffindor over any other House. He finds, once more, that inexplicable urge to do something recklessly, utterly stupid. High from the power he so rarely wields when confronted with this man, he taunts, “Come on, Tom. Let’s finish this the way we started!” He grips the older wizard close, sees the belated outrage.
This, certainly, qualifies as reckless stupidity.
But, he thinks, it might also just be strikingly poetic. “Together!” He shouts and jumps off the building.
‘Great!’ thinks Death. ‘Excellent opportunity.’This is the story of Death entrapping Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort in a series of reincarnations to undo the chaos the two of them have collectively caused. It’s a story of how two adversaries tangled in fate are forced to learn about themselves and through that, about the other; of them trying to work together for a change - if only, to pursue their individual goals.

Tom placed the food in storage and was stopped in between when Harry cornered him which lasted for less than two seconds as he moved away from his hold to charm the unclean plates, "You might find it silly."
And suddenly there was silence but Tom felt a looming presence around him. Harry's fingers layered in between Tom's own as he forced him to pay attention to his beautiful form.
"The last time we were talking in the astronomy tower you told me that you thought it was silly that you wished to take Ginny's place," Harry explained to him, kissing his fingers gently, "I made that happen, did I not?"
"Harry, you murdered her," Tom deadpanned.
"Semantics, my heart," Harry shrugged in response and pulled him closer, "I did make it happen, right?"
Tom shouldn't be the one chiding Harry for murder. Tom was the homicidal one not his 'I wanna braid flowers into your hair' partner.
OR
Harry just wants Tom to quit his god forsaken job at Borgin and Burke and become what he was truly meant to, a point of destruction for the entire magical world aka the Minister of Magical Britain.

Mercy Hawthorne was born and raised in the Grove, and as wonderful as the Grove is, it's a very small world to confine oneself to. So, it only stands to reason that at seventeen, she'd like to get out and see the world a bit before she takes the Vow of the Eleven and ties herself to a sacred hawthorn tree for the rest of her natural life. Or, at least, that's what Mercy tells her father, anyway.
To be fair, she was planning on returning after only a summer in Wizarding London, but Tom Riddle, well. He has a way of making her wonder whether maybe her fate lies outside the shade of the Grove after all.

Voldemort didn’t become a ghost. Nor a spectre. He became a parasite.
A parasite needed a host…
It had been by no means his intention to do so. If he had had any choice in the matter, it would’ve been the last thing he would’ve done. But Voldemort found himself, unwittingly, unwillingly, stupidly latching onto the one thing—the one person that was still alive—A baby. The very same baby he had intended to kill.
Bloody Hell.
And when he did, he realized with a growing sense of horror that whatever spell Lily Potter had used had not only ‘killed’ him, but turned her son into a horcrux. His horcrux.
