Summary
“So we meet again,” Ilya shouts, a lazy grin on his face as he peers at Shane from the Ottawa penalty box.
Shane glares back from Montreal’s penalty box, deadpan look on his face. He’s still fuming—angry that he got called for a practically non-existent penalty, angry that Ilya called for the same stupid penalty, and angrier that they’re both sitting out for the next two minutes of play because of it.
At least Ilya doesn’t seem too phased by it. In fact, he seems to be enjoying himself.
“You come here often?” Ilya asks in a flirtatious tone.
Shane snorts, shaking his head. “Not that often. But I heard you’re here a lot.”
Ilya spreads his arms. “Ah, but the penalty box is always better when you’re in yours, too. You always look so cute in there. Like a wet kitten.”
or: five times Shane and Ilya end up in their respective penalty boxes at the same time while playing against each other, plus one time they end up sharing one as teammates.

In room 1410, Ilya Rozanov is ready to walk out the door after successfully getting his 19 year old hockey rival into bed. He knew how to make this moment happen and he knows what they have to be to each other now that it's over. But as he turns the doorknob to leave, he's stopped with questions he never expected. And giving Shane Hollander what he needs in that moment will change everything.

Covers the first two years of their rookie seasons (which is mostly skipped over in the show/books). Canon divergent from the first hookup seen in HR s01ep01. Most things are from the show but the timeline is a mix of both; Hunter and Marleau are aged up per the show instead of as young as they are in the books. (Also, Shane and Ilya don't wait *two years*, they stick to the book timeline. IYKYK.)

Summary
Connor leads Hudson into the men’s restroom. It is a single stall. The second they both step inside, Connor locks the door and pushes Hudson against it.
“Thought you had to pee,” Hudson says, pressed up against the wood, Connor’s hand on his chest keeping him in place.
“Thought you had a girlfriend,” Connor shoots back. His tone mean, making it obvious that it is something he had been thinking about for a while.
Or
Hudson and Connor go a little too far a little too publically at the Met Gala’s after-party. Hudson crashes out about it the day after.
