The Baudelaire Orphans have finally found a safe haven for themselves. Sure, it came at the cost of being stranded alone on an island for a year with a newborn, but one year later they make the choice to set sail on decision day and continue on with their adventures. This time, things would be different, and they would even collect these stories in a book of their own much like their mother has.
This is not that story, however, but a fabrication of details I've collected over the years as I struggled to pull the truth from my reluctant guardians. Everyone wants to hear about what happened AFTER they left that Island, but I wanted to know the truth about what happened whilst we all lived there.

Summary
There’s something deeply unnerving about Law’s customer, Donquixote Doflamingo.
For one, his lips stretch too wide when he smiles. And if you look carefully, his canines appear too long, too pointy. The way he moves is nothing if not uncanny. Those limbs—impossibly large—swing with an unnatural grace, twisting at angles that don’t quite belong to a human body.
Sometimes, he stares at Law with that look, as though he knows exactly what he's thinking.
Those moments haunt him.

Sengoku had paused mid-word, as if expecting Doflamingo to say something — a greeting, or perhaps even more delusionally, an apology for being late — but of course, the pink fucker never did.
He walked — though that was a generous use of that verb in Crocodile’s opinion — towards the table, wasting no time before stepping onto it, settling himself cross-legged right in the middle.
Always needing to be the centre of attention, Crocodile thought with a sneer.
"We can sit on top of the table?!" Luffy yelled, excited, before wriggling out of Crocodile's grasp and clambering onto the table.
Somehow, that was the last straw; everyone's attention was now firmly on Luffy, with no one bothering to pretend like he didn't exist.
Luffy, for his part, appeared entirely unbothered — of course — as he settled himself by Doflamingo's side, pulling his feathery coat over his own shoulders.
Or: Crocodile decided against abandoning his child
