“I killed her,” Kirika was soon screaming, wild-eyed through the tears. “I took something precious to her and I stuck it in her heart like spearing a charging boar!” Mireille was taken aback, but not flapped. She'd seen Kirika break before but never like this, so verbosely. “I killed her and I.. I..” Kirika couldn't hold Mireille's dauntless gaze anymore. The next word was on the tip of Mireille's tongue, filling her mouth with ash and the taste of iron. She felt herself growl low in her throat and slide one foot out for a wider stance. Kirika hadn't said it back then either, but it had tasted just as bad. “You what, Kirika,” Mireille challenged.
