Summary
Lucifer managed to escape the wrath of God when he offered humanity the apple, condemning Lilith in his place. Now, thousands of years after his mistake, Heaven has decided to give him a mission to prove himself. To save a human well on the path to damnation. Joining Alastor at his side, Lucifer learns of a world he has been ignorant to while he licked his wounds in Heaven, that demons have roamed Earth almost as long as humanity has been free to make their own choices, and Alastor has been hunting them down to send them back where they came from.
Will Lucifer be able to save this human, or will he be corrupted by his sin and join him in his depravity?

Alastor can admit, in the silence of his own head as he walks away from the first official overlord meeting since the Extermination Day that Wasn’t, that Charlie MIGHT have been right. He probably should have stayed home.
Not that he’d tell the girl that under pain of torture - that kind of hand-wringing and fretting wasn’t the sort of thing that should be encouraged in anyone, least of all the Princess of Hell.
