Summary
Sakusa didn't feel lonely. He liked being alone. And when he felt the need for socialization, he could always turn to his cousin, who always responded with excitement that he'd been the one to initiate contact.
"I have you." He said without hesitation. "You're completely more than enough for me and I really don't need more people in my life."
Komori smiled sadly.
"I'm glad to finally hear from you that you appreciate my presence, but that attitude isn't healthy. You can't have just one person in your life." Motoya said in a rare, serious voice. "When you're dependent on just one person, and they leave, you'll be completely alone."
Komori Motoya, Sakusa Kiyoomi's closest and only friend, has always wanted his cousin to make friends, but Kiyoomi has always refused, saying he doesn't need anyone else in his life. When Komori falls into a coma after a car accident, Sakusa begins to seriously consider his cousin's request and makes him a promise: he will try to make friends. He doesn't expect how deep the bonds will be.

Summary
After the sign is flipped to "Closed," in the half-lit shop lobby of Onigiri Miya five old friends meet for food and conversation.
Four nights across the month of June. It's about love, or the lack thereof, about building community and sharing pain, about pride and who you are, and about terrible, awful, gaudy, rainbow clothes.

Bokuto (very loudly): “What? Are you saying something, Omi-Omi?”
Sakusa: “No. Anyway. Today, we are trying to…”[Sakusa gestures towards his teammates, signaling for them to speak in unison.]
All players: “Bake a cake while blind, deaf, mute, and stuck in Brazil."
[None of them say this in sync. All of them finish speaking at different times.]

Summary
“Tadashi, it’s a bad idea. Oh my god, this is such a bad idea.” At the conviction in Yachi's words, Yamaguchi throws his hands up. Yachi sees the offence written all over his face and backtracks. “I’m sorry! It’s just, you’ve literally told me that you think he’s attractive—"
“He is!” Yamaguchi fails to see the issue here, still reeling from her unexpected disapproval. He kind of thought Yachi would be on board, or find it funny. But who is he kidding, this is Yachi, of course she’s going to worry. “First of all, I’m his best friend, I’m allowed to admire him! And second, I was drunk when I told you that! In confidence, I might add!”
“Well, what happens when you fall in love with him for real?”
Yamaguchi stops breathing for a second. Oh, yeah. That would be an issue.

Summary
"That would make me cry even harder." Kiyoomi grabbed Atsumu's face, cupping his cheeks with his cold hands and letting their foreheads brush together. "Miya Atsumu, you aren't allowed to die. I command it."
Both of them knew Kiyoomi was no longer a Prince, Atsumu no longer his Knight, and he wasn't in a position to command anyone to do anything, but Atsumu smiled at him anyway and nodded his head.
"Alright." Atsumu laid a chaste kiss against Kiyoomi's lips, "I'll promise to keep living then. Since my omega has demanded it of me."
Miya Atsumu was a liar.
