Summary
Lies and secrets tore their family apart, and the Odinson brothers are still trying to pick up the pieces. Loki is fresh out of jail, doing his best to hold his life together while fighting a losing battle against his own mind. Thor is fresh out of university, determined to forge his own path in the face of family expectations. A gruesome discovery soon leads Thor to a chance encounter with Val, a jaded ex-detective investigating a series of mysterious deaths, and he and Loki find themselves drawn into a world of deceit and intrigue as they join her quest for the truth. But there is no room for coincidence here, and when Loki unearths a grisly secret about his own past the brothers and their allies find that the answers they seek may lie closer to home than they bargained for. What was Laufey trying to do? What does Odin know? And is it possible to avoid a fate that was set in motion by forces far beyond human reckoning?
Remember, dear reader: everyone has secrets, nothing is as it seems, and the lines around our reality aren't exactly drawn with permanent ink.

Summary
Stormbreaker strikes Thanos a couple inches to the left of where it does in canon, with much more satisfying results. However, revenge alone won't fill the voids left behind by all that Thor has lost. The Time Stone might be able to help with that.

Summary
There are children you can leave unsupervised for an afternoon without courting danger.
To Odin's consternation, the two young princes of Asgard are not that kind of children. With Frigga absent and Odin distracted with the minutia of government, Thor and Loki sneak out of the palace on a bilgesnipe hunt. Their short adventure leaves Loki badly injured.
But the physical injury is not as potent a force as the secrets Odin is determined to protect or Loki’s desperate need to live up to his father’s expectations.
