He grabs her shoulders and walks her backward, and she lets him, right until she bumps into the workbench where he and Olric throw their extra forging items. Coal and miscellaneous metal pieces scatter around their feet as he sweeps them onto the ground before propping her up.
Then he drops to his knees, and the word worship comes to her mind.
The farmer wonders who wins in a game of living in the other's head rent free.

Summary
After completely embarrassing himself while Voltron tries to establish an alliance, Lance finds himself wishing he could go back and scrub the day clean -- just start all over and redo it entirely. And in a miraculous turn of events, he gets to!
And then he gets to do it again. And again. And again.
(A story where, while stuck in a time loop, Lance gets mad, sad, glad, and realizes that maybe all that rivalry had been a different misdirected emotion -- all in the exact same day.)

There’s a beat of total silence. Keith hasn’t pulled out a knife yet, and Lance isn’t dead, so that’s something. He decides to take advantage of it.“She’s been taking my underwear!” Lance finally busts out, said in the exact same way you’d accuse a kindergartener of stealing your legos if you, too, were five years old. He even points at the pile of boxers, as if that’s going to help the situation.
Keith’s hand is still on the doorknob to his closet. His whole body looks tense. “That doesn’t even begin to explain half of -- Get out of my closet!”
Lance scrambles out, grabbing his phone charger on the way. And his boxers. He needs those.
Keith has a thieving, ornery cat. Good thing Lance has a soft spot for cats anyway.

And then Keith surprises him, rolling over on his side so he’s facing Lance.
Suddenly, their proximity is very obvious to Lance.
“I have a question for you.” he says. Lance swallows, nods, suddenly regrets not just excusing himself to the Center's lobby and sleeping on the couch.
“What are you… Doing all this for?” Keith pauses. “I mean, the gyms, the battling, the Championship thing.”
Lance frowns at the question, brows drawn in. It was his dream, right? Was that not an acceptable answer?
Where a young teenager leaves on an adventure and winds up finding out a lot more about himself -- and others -- than he expects.

Maybe that meant his guard was up—but he did as she asked, anyway, putting a hand on the door and pushing until it shut with a click.
