On the night before his defection, Suguru knocks on Satoru's door.
"Suguru?" Satoru mumbles, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes.
"Hey," Suguru breathes, "can I ask you something?"
The answer is yes, it always is, but he's grumpy and tired and experimenting with Limitless has drained all of his patience, so he snaps back, "this couldn't have waited until tomorrow?" and watches the frown on Suguru's face harden like he just slapped him. Suguru shifts by the doorway, taking a deep breath in and exhaling out.
"Satoru,
