As much as I love all the neurodevelopmental disability rep in TOH fanfics about the kids, I rarely see the Hexsquad written with chronic illness represented, and I think Amity is a fantastic candidate for a character with physical disabilities.
OR
an enemies-to-friends-to-girlfriends alternate universe where Amity consistently misses school because of her disability, and Luz offers to take Boscha's place of bringing Amity her homework.

Summary
Luz Noceda is on her sixth (and nicest) foster family, the Darlings. She has everything she needs, but still, she longs for the pirate adventures she reads about in The Good Pirate Azura. On the night of her fourteenth birthday, she makes a wish to be a pirate like her hero.
On that same night, Eda Clawthorne is passing through Connecticut, picking up her favorite snack before returning to Neverland.
With one fateful glance, Eda notices the girl and whisks her away to a land of her dreams.
But Neverland holds its own dark side; the real pirates are cruel and power hungry, determined to mine the land for its natural magic and control it.
Eda brings Luz back to the haven of The Lost Children, where she teaches them to connect with the island and learn magic.
On the other side of the island, Captain Belos recruits lost children to be his pirates, creating a denomination of magic that he controls, separating magic to take it for himself.
To keep the land of her dreams, Luz will have to defeat her own enemies and take control of her own destiny.—

Summary
A Virus is sweeping the world, and everyone is in panic. Any woman who contracts it slowly regresses over weeks or months to the mental state of a baby. The world is changing, and men are taking back over as women slip from power and from their status as their equals.
Emma, a nurse living with her boyfriend Jacob, wanted to help people and never thought she would contract the virus. Her boyfriend, on the other hand, has held certain fetishes for domination and control, and this virus has given him the opportunity. Nicole actually doesn't let Ari walk away when she breaks up with her. SHE should be doing the breaking up, so they have to stay together until she can.
So she just manipulates Ari into staying with her, lets shit stay sweet for like a week, and kicks the bitch to the curb, probably being extra cruel for good measure. Happy End(for Nicole). Except it doesn't go that way, at all. In fact Nicole learns pretty quickly that forcing the issue was a huge mistake.
