A large warm hand was holding Dean’s shoulder, shaking him lightly.
“Dean.”
Dean swatted at the hand, mildly surprised when it didn’t let go. People usually gave him a wide berth when he was asleep now, unsure what reaction he'd have from being woken up suddenly. The hand dug in harder, could feel the blunt fingertips push in under his collar bone.
“Dean, come on.”
Dean opened his eyes, ready to tell off Cas or Sam— whoever it was— for waking him so soon after he lay down. John Winchester stared down at him, brows knotted together with a grim look. Dean nearly launched himself backwards off the bed, banging his head sharply on the motel headboard and pressing himself bodily against it— far away as possible from the spectre in front of him.

Shawn thought they slightly resembled him and Gus- if they'd been looking in a funhouse mirror. Well, it never hurt to get to know your coworkers, even temporary ones. Shawn took a step towards them. "I'm Shawn Spencer, and this is my associate, Pinus Ponderosa."
Gus bristled at the offensive-sounding nickname. "What did you just call me?"
Shawn lowered his voice and turned to Gus. "Pinus Ponderosa. A pine tree native to Portland- I read it on a pamphlet during the flight."

Summary

Loki is tormented by these words as he sits on a lonely throne at the end of time. He watches his friends lives go by on the timeline and wonderes what he could have done differently.
Mobius is sleeping on the beach looking up at the stars. He swears he can hear Loki's voice in the waves. His retirement is cut short when Dr. Strange arrives asking about the fate of the multiverse.
This is a big gay fix-everything fic. Lokius canon, lots of hurt/comfort, lots of character development and healing, eventual smut. All the good stuff.
