Summary
There were certain responsibilities that came with being the Slytherin’s Head of House. Not all of them being pleasant. Severus Snape had assumed he had already comes to terms with that during the famed Mr Harry Potter’s first year. Little did he know that the incoming wave of first years was about to upend everything. For better or for worse.
He really wished he didn't feel like he was looking at a mirror of his past.
OR I really wanted to write a story with Snape helping two students through an emotionally abusive friendship that reminded him of his friendship with Lily and didn't feel comfortable shoehorning any existing characters into the situation I've got planned. This might also become eventual Snape mentors Harry fic too with Snape realizing that he is being ridiculous holding a grudge on Harry's dad against Harry but tbd.
