Everyone ended up trying the fancy rum eventually, making toasts for the ‘birthday boy’ and taking shots every now and then while eating. By the end of their dinner, everyone was at least a bit tipsy. Drunk, even.
We had Ryo, in last place, who didn’t drink more than one shot because ‘rum burns my throat’. Then there was Yushi, who drank way more than one shot but he wasn’t as lightweight as the others. Sakuya and Sion were feeling kind of the same, Sakuya had drank less but Sion was more used to it. Then Riku and Daeyoung.
