The biplane aerial maneuvers are some of the most difficult stunt work they’ve ever done. Tom becomes overwhelmed and admits he’s having trouble on the wing.

Summary
In 1986, Goose’s death leaves Maverick broken, Iceman shaken, and Slider with a terrible new understanding of what it means to have your whole life in the other seat. When no other RIO can reach Maverick, Slider climbs into Goose’s place and helps him fly again - while Iceman is forced to confront what Slider has always been to him. Decades later, after Admiral Kazansky’s death, Maverick asks Slider for help once more. Phoenix and Bob have made it through an ejection alive, but the fear stayed with them, and Slider may be the only person who knows how to teach them trust again.
