‘It’s Two-Face, Mr Wayne.’
As part of the agreement with Batman, Two-Face hadn’t brought any weapons. His fingers itched for a gun. If he had a gun, he’d know how to deal with the way Bruce was looking at him, an eyebrow raised and a skeptic look on his face.
‘I think considering what we’re going to do, Bruce will be fine.’ He moved to the bed and put a nondescript paper bag on the bedside table. ‘I brought supplies. And before you do anything, we need to talk. Establish boundaries.’

‘She dosed you with an aphrodisiac, Dent.’ The form of address hurt Harvey, so cold and impersonal. He had called him Harvey before. What had he done wrong? He liked his name on Batman’s lips. He leaned his head against Batman’s thigh and inhaled the curious smell of kevlar. ‘You’re not in control of yourself. You don’t know what you want.’
‘Yes, I do.’ Harvey knew what he wanted. He wanted hands on him; he wanted to be touched; he wanted to be wanted. (He wanted Bruce’s small thoughtful smiles; he wanted Bruce’s careful touches.) ‘Touch me. Please, touch me.’
