Summary
Nick felt like shit. Admittedly, that's not an uncommon feeling for him. But this was different. He felt like actual shit.
He was waking slowly, the important bits of his brain coming online at a snail's pace. The first thing he noticed was the soft feeling of Luke's arm around him, his chest pressing into his back. The second thing he noticed was his overwhelming urge to throw up.
OR: Nick gets sick, and Luke is there to care for him.

Summary
Nick looked mortified, like he and only him had been caught indulging in a sin, and not the both of them.
Luke didn't care if it was a sin. Like Eve and her apple, Luke disregarded the warnings given to him and let his hands settle on Nick's jaw to pull him closer.
Yes, he was Eve, and Nick was his apple.
OR: Luke was, by no means, at all, under any circumstances, in love with his best friend.
..right?

Summary
“I believe in God.” Luke stated after a moment, a thoughtful expression on his face.
“I know.” Nick replied, turning his head to look over at Luke with a placid expression.
“I believe in all that heaven stuff. Angels, souls, hell..” Luke listed, trailing off as he pinched a wrinkle in his shirt between two fingers, trailing the pads of flesh over the sewn cotton.
“Angels?” Nick half-laughed, leaning closer. “What, like guardian angels?”
“I do!” He smiled, lifting his head just enough to give a playful glance at Nick, then tipped it back again. “Guardian angels is one way to put it.. I guess I do believe in some sort of force guiding us away from danger ‘n the like.”
OR: Nick's plan to confess to Luke was cut short as the dead rose.

Summary
Javi did not like where this was going. This was definitely an odd day for him, eventful and stressful. Yes, this was stranger than most days he's had. But the cartoonish nature of it all soon weared off when Javi recognized the signs of a soon to be shootout.
OR: Noah and Nathan were somewhat of a father-daughter duo. Despite neither of them being related, they've been doing.. alright. They were new in town after escaping a rotten community states away. But when they meet an ex-baseball player who needs to get back to his family, who would they be if they didnt extort supplies from him? they're just a few measly bandages.
AKA: Noah, Nathan, Javi, and Clementine all set out in search of Javi's family. Along the way, horrible memories, alive and dead, arise.

Summary
....And the one time they actually did.
OR:
It was a moment that seemed to last forever. They were so close that Luke could feel a shaky exhale from Nick on his upper lip, and vice versa. He wanted… he wasn't sure what exactly he wanted, but so far all signs pointed towards his best friend inching closer.
But with a sharp inhale, Luke rested his head on the hay below it, creating distance between the two. Nick accepted it, leaning away with an unreadable expression. If Luke knew any better, he'd say it was somewhat of a disappointed expression. He's drunk. They're both just really drunk. That's all that was.

Until he meets this mysterious boy, a friend of Dendy's, who feels like the embodiment of magic. Metaphorically that is.
And there's GOT to be a logical explanation for the literal music that emits from him that only Kaio can hear.
