To make her eye-roll visible, she took off her sunglasses for a moment.
“This right here,” she pointed to her eyes, “means you’re annoying, by the way. In case you notice it more often today.”
When no one was looking at him anymore, Connor’s lips suddenly twitched into a small smile.
Then, for a short moment, his eyes wandered over to Amber.When Amber’s cyber security database is destroyed by android rebels, a list of nine stolen names is her only clue.
She decides to call her old family friend Hank to help solve the case under the radar.
An overly pedantic Android prototype wasn't what she expected as she looked up from her chaotic desk.
What started as an undercover investigation slowly turned into witty banter, hidden glances and unexpected connections.Note: This is a work in progress to overcome my perfectionism, so I'm writing without a fixed plan. Started as a short story in my head, but who knows?

But he doesn’t have time to worry as there is a case to solve which only seems to feed Connor’s struggles.

Summary
Connor must solve an intense case once again, but this time, his beloved father as well as his partner Hank Anderson has gone missing. Connor highly suspects that that Hank has been kidnapped, and now he will not rest until he is found a brought home safely. Someone is clearly out to hurt Connor and those he loves; Connor plans to get to them before that happens. Markus tags along with his husband, eager to help his love. This should be fun.

Connor Anderson scrounges around the city for clues in order to find his father, along with Markus, while also breaking the fourth wall.
