CyberLife resumed control of the RK800 after a successful peaceful revolution. With Markus a pile of ashes of his own making, the company has total control of the deviant movement in the form of their prototype puppet leader.
The only problem for them, and the only hope for androidkind, is that they couldn’t get rid of Connor completely.
Thing is, he’s stuck in his own head, and a real bastard of an RK800 has taken over his motor functions. And as “what was planned from the beginning” comes to light, Connor realizes there are deeper and darker forces at work, something he never could have imagined.
And he’s running out of time to stop it.

Summary
Sequel to Camaraderie. It’s been three years since the android revolution, and the city of Detroit is slowly adjusting to a world where androids are living beings. Connor, Hank, and their colleagues at the DPD try to go about their daily lives as the city goes through this evolution, while Connor also helps his newly deviant brother, Coda the RK900, process what it means to be alive.

Changed Fates is my Detroit: Become Human alternate universe, where the main three’s roles are switched. Kara is now an android detective. Connor is now the deviant leader. And Markus is trying to save Alice. The AU starts the same way the normal canon does, but events deviate (haha) quickly due to the different androids, changing the fate of the android revolution. Summary
Detroit is slow to adapt to the new social order, and android rights are at stake. A hate group begins to emerge, targeting newly-freed androids.
Falling victim to one of their attacks, Connor is placed in a human body in an attempt to preserve its consciousness. Now he needs to expose the hate group, all while managing his new body, and the endless landscape of human emotion and sensation. Is Connor's newly formed humanity going to turn out to be a blessing, or a debilitating curse? Whatever happens, Connor is yet again at the crosshairs of a city in crisis.

Hank Anderson, DPD’s resident drunkard Lieutenant, is assigned a new partner to handle the rising cases of android deviancy in Detroit. He’s not sure what to make of the kid other than that he’s a pain in the older man’s ass.
Jericho, a safe haven for deviated androids in Detroit, receives help from an enigmatic android with no face or voice. Strange rumors that they are RA9 begin circulating through the population as they guide more and more deviants their way.
Markus, an android owned by a famous painter, is gunned down in his own home and wakes up blind and deaf to the world. Saved by a mysterious android, he makes his way to Jericho with his savior’s words guiding him there.
None of these things have anything in common, and Connor ‘Stern’ will go through android heaven and hell itself to make sure of it.

It was just a normal day at the office, with Hank and Connor sitting at their desks trying to push through all of the cases that had been put on their files. Connor was scrolling down an article, trying to find out where he could've missed something. Out of nowhere, he got this static ringing in his ears. He tried to figure out what was the cause of it, but as soon as it had started, it stopped. He knew his LED was freaking out, because it had gotten the attention of Hank.
"The fuck was that about, Connor?" Hank had asked, stopping whatever he was typing.
Connor ran a quick diagnostic to check if there was anything wrong, but it came back clean. Strange.. "I don't think it was of any importance, Lieutenant. My diagnosis is clean." Connor said, blinking a few times before going back to the web page, glancing at Hank telling him to do the same.
