“Satoru,” Sukuna greeted. He dropped the brat, and kept walking, past where the nobles knelt, past treason and into taboo. He stepped up to the throne, and stood, for a moment, above Satoru. Looking down, as his god looked up.
The blue of Satoru’s eyes had not faded. It was as cataclysmic now as it had been on the day they first met.
“My dear consort eternal,” Satoru purred, “it has been a long time.”
