Summary
The trio of kingdoms that lay west, beyond the mountains of Clefyndonia, each ruled by a family more fierce than the next have been at war since the princes of each kingdom had been in swadding cloths. When two of the kingdoms make a pact for peace to squeeze the other kingdom out of exerting any power, the Yang kingdom queen will do anything to insure that peace is guaranteed, even killing to protect the secret that the Yang princess is not all she appears to be.

Jeongin believed for most of his life that he was a girl, because his mum told him so (and she REALLY believed the fortune teller that predicted it). If the Yang kingdom can't produce a princess to marry the prince of the Lee kingdom then war will break out and if war breaks out then the Choi kingdom might take the chance to seize power and that would be a disaster. Hyunjin looked the stranger up and down with a slight look of disdain. The next words out of his mouth looked like they hurt to say. "You're pretty enough, but I need girls"
"A hole is a hole" Jisung said nonchalantly whilst popping a peanut into his mouth. "And out here, the men aren't so picky". This was how it always worked when he started on one of his schemes. Fake the confidence until you get where you want to be.

His grip tightened on Seungmin's wrist and he had to bite his lip not to make a sound. It hurt. It hurt so good. How did he know what he liked?
"The moment I saw you, I knew I had to have you"
Those words sent a ripple right down Seungmin's spine and sent sparks into other places. They were in a taxi not five minutes later heading to Seungmin’s apartment, both positively buzzing with arousal.
The first few times it had been pure animalistic want. The moment the front door shut behind them Changbin had him pinned against it, tearing at his clothes as their lips and tongues played a merry dance. Seungmin found himself submitting willingly to any and all suggestions. He couldn't get enough of the strong, commanding man who had suddenly decided that Seungmin was his new favourite toy.

Seungmin and Changbin have been hooking up regularly for two years. They both like to fool themselves that it means nothing until suddenly it means everything. Only they are both too cowardly to do something about that.

Summary
Changbin lets himself get lost in the laughter, the light noise the only thing tethering him to the present as his mind reels with images. Scandalous, scandalous images of Seungmin, all pretty in a collar for him.
He pinches the skin of his thigh between two fingers, digging his nails in, anything to distract from those thoughts. This is simply play. Another game, a tug-of-war with each other’s patience. That thin remaining strand of patience nearly snaps when, after finally steeling his resolve and looking down at Seungmin, Changbin finds he’s already looking right back. There’s a contemplative mirth in the curve of his smile.
“I would, you know.”
Snapped back into the moment, Changbin frowns. “Huh?”
“I’d wear it.”

“God, I love you.”
Silence falls, abrupt and complete. Even the breeze seems to hesitate. Jisung stills mid-motion, one hand caught between turning the page and abandoning it altogether.
Minho freezes, because no, that was not how this was meant to occur. He intended to be subtle. A measured declaration. Perhaps a carefully guided conversation beneath acceptable layers of plausible deniability.
Not this.
Not a raw confession tossed carelessly into the afternoon air like a man flinging himself from a cliff. Depending on how this goes, Minho might have to do just that.
