A fabrial accident has caused Elhokar Kholin, King of Alethkar, to be forcibly (and magically) bonded to Shallan Davar, a young, female, Lightweaver from Jah Kaved, who happens to be The King's Cousin's Fiancé.
Now they can't physically separate without intense concentration and the risk of snapping back together... violently. They must learn to work together in order to perform their most basic life functions, as well as not drive each other up the wall.
It goes over about as well as you might expect.
