Sonoko had brought out a suspicious amount of alcohol. Despite minor protests from the more law-abiding members of the group everyone had ended up with a cup. No one was going to leave this place until tomorrow.
Which was fine, Shinichi had enough guest rooms, blankets, and couches to accommodate everyone.
Sonoko had a calculating look in her eye. By the time everyone was on their 3rd drink she launched her plan. As Sonoko, Ran, Hattori, and Shinichi sat on the floor around a low table. Sonoko announced “Let's play never have I ever!” A small groan rose out of Shinichi and Hattori. “None of that we're deepening bonds right now.”

The gang play never have I ever while Shinichi gets war flashbacks to his relationship with Kaito.

Jason invites Tim over for his birthday. Bruce is in traction, Dick is in space, and Jason knows that no amount of bribing or begging from either of them would get Tim to spend his twenty-first with Damian. He feels a little bad. So, he texts Tim, come over for ur birthday. ill make cake.
Unfairly, Tim responds with a picture of Dick’s ass.
Jason hesitates for a moment, then sends him a lettuce emoji and a question mark.
yea ok, says Tim, and that’s the end of it.

He didn’t know why he did it. Maybe it was the dozens of random Post-it notes on the board in the hallway of his favorite coffee shop, or maybe it was that aching feeling of being invisible when he was anything but everywhere else. You’d think being a superhero would be the most anonymous job in the world. But the number of people who knew it was him under the Red Robin mask made it difficult for it to feel anonymous. He couldn’t blend in anywhere else because he was a Wayne now and a Drake before and it was... difficult. Really difficult. All his internet traffic was monitored and there was no such thing as random with all the things that made up Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne. So in the sea of Post-it notes tacked to the board, he added his own, certain there were no cameras back here, certain he wouldn’t be found out.
Sometimes I just want to be forgotten.

Tim’s hand grips tighter on the coffee, more determined to keep his hold on that than his phone or keys, and thank god, he doesn’t drop the drink. But the rest of it slips through his fingers, and the guy he just slammed into has some seriously great reflexes, because he manages to snatch them both out of the air before they can hit the ground.
“Oh, god, sorry—” Tim starts to say as the guy straightens up, and then he stops. A set of amused green eyes look down at him over a wide grin.
You’ve got to be kidding, Tim thinks.
“Got somewhere to be, sweetheart? Oh, now that’s a pretty shade of red you’re turning—”
“I’m late,” Tim snaps, snatching his keys and phone out of Jason’s hand. “I got lost four fucking times on my way here. If this city was a person, I would throttle it.”

He should really try to be a bit less excited about that last part.

“Yes,” Tim replies. Then he squints suspiciously. “Please tell me you did too?”
Jason scoffs. “Yes, pretender, I've been following protocol. But seriously, tell me you haven't thought about just warning someone. Believe it or not, the idea of being able to prevent my death and not doing it doesn't inspire warm and fuzzy feelings, dipshit.”
Tim winces and resists the urge to say the very first thing I thought of when I got here was preventing it, because he doubts Jason would be all that flattered.
