Summary
Something is wrong with the Whittman boy; Alastor can see that the moment he sets eyes on him.
Driven by curiosity, Alastor toys with this peculiar creature, fascinated by the reactions he can draw from a boy both so like and unlike him. He doesn't yet know if he wants to teach him or ruin him, but either way, 13-year-old Vincent is a monster too intriguing to resist.
But it turns out there's more to this boy than it seems, and Alastor quickly finds himself in over his head and discovering things about himself he never expected. As the lines between mentorship and romance blur, Alastor begins to wonder if he'll regret taking on his too-eager apprentice.

Summary
The war against Heaven isn't the only issue Hell has to face.
The Demons that Lilith and Lucifer created are the ones that rule all of hell and as such they are used to doing whatever they want. Vox is sitting at the very top of this heriarchy with his eyes always looking down at everyone around him. He has the fame, power, and strength to face anyone who dares to question him, that is until a new Guide shows up in Hell and starts to mess with him, causing him to accidentally make the biggest mistake in his life.
Or: Vox is a powerful Demon that's used to getting his way and Alastor is a new Guide that might act a little bit too bratty for his own good.

Summary
The fact that sinners can be redeemed cannot be denied any longer. The only issue is the animosity between heaven and hell. On one hand, heaven wants to help sinners be redeemed, but on the other, sinners are ready to wage a war against heaven in order to guarantee their survival. Alastor is the newly appointed angel sent to hell to help Charlie with her dream, except maybe he isn't very angel-like, and his personality isn't the greatest, but he seems to have found an entertaining TV man that keeps him amused for the most part.

Summary
When the other Vees don't show up to stop Vox, Alastor is forced to, once again, save the day himself. He offers to make Vox a deal. One martini in exchange for saving the world.
Of course, every deal made in Hell has much more to it than what the words alone say. Their personal history with the cocktail goes back to the 1960's, a brand new sinner named Vincent getting the lay of Hell, a wide-smiling patron of the arts, and an utter refusal to ever define a relationship.
It's a love story, if you squint.
