“Is that what it is? A kingfisher?” Hans hums, and his head sways.
“Used to be,” Henry offers a smile he hopes is reassuring as he turns the leathery talisman in his palm. “Supposed to guard you from bad luck.”
“Oh, it didn’t do a very good job now, did it?” Hans’ eyes find his. “You and your birds, Hal… Nightingales and robins and yellowhammers.”
“My lord.”
“Promise me, hm?” Hans smiles. “You’ll think of me each time you think of birds.”
“Hans-”
“I reckon that’ll be plenty,” the young lord smiles again: the trickle of blood from his temple runs down his cheek. “It will work better to guard you, too, from any harm and any bad luck.”
“Hans, you need to stay awake. Please.”
“Maybe I’ll even haunt you, eh?” Something akin to a laugh erupts from his chest in a short, meagre burst. “Better than Toth, too, I promise.”After Suchdol and all the pain and tenderness it brought, Henry of Skalitz and his lord Hans Capon of Pirkstein steal some time for themselves: as summer dies and turns to autumn, and to winter cold, they choose to court each other with great honesty and love.
Even if they wear different names and play the riskiest game of pretend Bohemia has ever seen.

Freckles on his shoulders, an old scar just under the collarbone from a wound Henry wasn’t there to defend him from, once. More lost details, more differences, more that persists only in Henry’s mind. Oh, to capture this, to sculpt or carve it. To be able to hold it in his hand with such pressure that it breaks the skin. To absorb it and let it absorb him.
Hans carves Henry a wooden figure of himself. Through blood and killing and stealing and coming home, it becomes the only real thing.

Aprile 1988. Ryo e Kaori sono soci da tre anni dopo la morte di Hideyuki. Una nuova organizzazione chiamata Azan sparge droga a Shinjuku mentre si intrecciano le loro storie e sentimenti. A capo di questa organizzazione c'è Patrick Darcy (un personaggio inventato) un multimiliardario proprietario di una azienda farmaceutica Asan Chemical Industry che, nei suoi laboratori oltre a fabbricare medicine produce anche droghe sintetiche. Il caso giunge ai nostri poichè si fa viva una vecchia cliente di Ryo, Rumiko Takaoda, di una "vecchia gatta da pelare" di Saeko, che ora chiede aiuto poichè i balordi hanno rapito suo figlio Hiro. In questa storia Kaori ha 23 anni ed ha le sue storie e non pensa assolutamente a Ryo come partner invece lui è innamorato di lei. *** Ci sono storie che lasciano il segno nella vita di ogni scrittore, anche amatoriale e senza pretese come me. Ed "Il Naturale Scorrere Degli Eventi" è senza dubbio LA STORIA. E' iniziata per scherzo nel lontano 2006. All'inizio ed all'albore dei tempi quando la mia verve creativa nel vecchio sito di Manganet era al massimo del suo splendore ed è durata fino ad ora. Ed ora finalmente dopo vent'anni sono riuscita a concluderla. Grazie a tutti a chi legge. Buona lettura.

Fanfiction pubblicata nel 2011, il titolo riprende quello dello stupendo film di Jane Campion, “Lezioni di piano”, quello sì un capolavoro! E’ una one shot che vorrebbe essere (non so se ci riesce…^^) bollente, visto che la mia sorellina di ff (che mi ha istigata a scriverla) mi aveva chiesto una scena hot...e così eccola qui!

As he slips into his hose, Henry’s voice behind him starts low then rises, as though during the act of saying the thing, he finds some more boldness to push him through to the end of the sentence, “Then next time, you’ll have an answer besides maybe.”
Next time. A shiver runs through Hans that he hides in the process of throwing his pourpoint around his shoulders. “Next time,” he says, and starts higher than he ends, losing his own boldness halfway through.
It starts at the bathhouse, a drunken mistake, and then continues, and continues, and continues. KCD1 scenes reimagined with more intentional Hansry.
