Summary
“100 out of 100,” Shivani said, and all Keigo could feel was relieved. She gave him a curt nod, “Good Takami, I expect nothing less of you. Since you have shown before and also this time again that you are capable of gaining these scores, you must prevail and continue on this path if you want to be a hero,” she told him simply. “The UA entrance exam is soon, in a week to be precise,” She let the words hang in the air before continuing. “This is your chance, Takami. Don’t disappoint me,”

Summary
"Yes, Mr... Enjin." He heard the discomfort in her voice, having to call him by his first (and only) name. "I'm sorry, we are calling about Rudo. You'll have to pick him up, principal's office, your son's been caught fighting with another student."
Great. Just what he fucking needed after a day of arguing with half-grown kids on the job. But, being his guardian, he could hardly refuse. Thus, he muttered a 'be there in ten' into the speaker, hung up before she had any chance to add more and, on his way out, called Bro to let him know he'd be alone for the rest of the day. At least that man had his kids in check, and would manage their job just as well on his own. He'd buy him drinks for the hassle, next time they went out together, Enjin set a mental note to make sure.

I have a strong urge to write down whatever crap floats around in my head, lately
Featuring whatever ship I find interesting at the moment, and right now that is Enjin/Gris (with a slight pinch of past Enjin/Gob for the angst)

Summary
Rudo let out a weak, frustrated groan, dropping his head back against the stone. Going back inside meant facing the gauntlet of worried looks and questions again, and his burning hands didn't even feel capable of holding a fork right now anyway. The fire in his wrists was pulsing in perfect time with the thumping behind his eyes. He just needed a minute to sit here in the quiet and close his eyes…
“Rudo?”
His eyes snapped open.
For a brief, disoriented second, he almost expected to see Regto standing over him, cool compress in hand.
Instead, Enjin was crouched in front of him, one arm resting on his knee. The older man's sharp eyes were narrowed, taking in the posture, the untouched plate of food, and the heavy sweat dampening Rudo's hair.
OR,
Rudo gets sick. Enjin's there to help.

Summary
Rudo winced harshly as another wave of pain shot through his hands.
It had been getting worse lately.
The ache was always there to some degree, buried beneath everything else like a constant dull burn underneath his skin, but flare ups like this were unbearable. It felt like his nerves were being dragged across broken glass every single time he moved his fingers wrong.

Summary
Rudo hates his wings. They’re ugly, mangled ; was, is and always will be.
But it’s ironic, really — how a magpie will actively seek out treasures, yet incapable of realising how precious itself already is.

Summary
‘Alright, let’s just take some deep breaths, okay? In and out, slowly.’
‘Get lost – NO!’ Rudo roared again, eyes flashing in a terrorised, overwrought outrage. Then he ripped the table lamp from his bedside locker and angled it threateningly above his head.
His voice hobbled over as he spoke, caught in a thick hook of swamped tears and mucus. ‘You’re NOT –’ he sniffed, hard; it sounded burnt-out and hurt. ‘–You’re not doing the breathing thing! That’s Regto’s thing!’
Enjin bowed his face and inhaled sharply.
Then he took a good, long look at him. ‘So that’s what this is about.’
Or,
Five times Enjin went to help Rudo - and the one time Rudo went to him.
