Erik Lehnsherr, 13 year old King, has a quandary on his hands. At least, his guardians do. As an anointed, crowned King, he cannot be struck or beaten, even when he richly deserves it. And he really, really, deserves it. He and his young friends are wild and spoilt to a fault.
Naturally, Lord Regent Shaw decides the best thing to do is to appoint him a whipping boy, to take Erik's punishment in his place; and hopefully persuade the King to behave, well like a King.
Enter ten year old Charles Xavier. Who regards the post as a considerable improvement on the life he's left behind.:)
