Summary
“Hey, um, Crow. I've been meaning to ask you a question, uh,”
Purple stands before her, with a hand under his ‘chin’.
“Why, exactly, do you have a cast iron pan, on a loop, on your belt, like a weapon?”
He gestures to the cast iron pan hanging off the hanging cast iron pan loop on her weapon belt.
She steps slightly closer to him.
“When I fight fate”
she pokes his chest with one of her clawed fingers and leans her head as close to his face as she can get without touching. She can count his eyes from here.
“I win”

Summary
An old species, a new planet.
He skitters through the underbrush, moonlight glinting off his midnight scales. The lights of the city filter through the forest to his left, darkness of the forest to his right.
It’s around here somewhere, can’t be that hard to miss.
He razes his long neck into the air, flicking his antenna around as if he could somehow smell it. Six eyes flick around, each set independent from each other.
There, through the forest.
The fluorescent lights beckon him.
Rushing across an empty road he nears the building, it shines like a beacon, casting glowing hues across his lithe body.
So this is what all the commotions about,
huh.(It’s finally time for me to release this abomination of an au on the universe, cringe is dead, and I am god)

Summary
It turns out that being wired into giant war machines doesn’t play nice with human brains. The Earth Mechanical Defense Force, or EMDF, learned that the hard way when their pilots started going… neurotic, let’s say, after a few missions.
The obvious solution to that problem was to simply wire the pilot into their mecha permanently, that way their mind wasn’t being strained by the constant in and out. Unfortunately that strategy backfired and the pilots started going neurotic much, much faster, and this time they were giant and made of metal and much harder to put down.
So, the obvious next step would be to pull the plug on that idea and go back to the drawing board, right? No, that’s ridiculous, the next step was obviously to simply…
Make the mecha forget they’d ever been human in the first place.
Somewhere along the line someone should have pulled the plug, but they’d already invested so much into the project, and you know what they say about sunk cost fallacy.

Summary
Basically I'm messing around with what long term mental and physical connection to semi sentient metal! There will be body horror, the main fic in the series is Time To Torture Jazz, and the rest likely be oneshots / offshoots when im bored and want to play with the timeline!
the main thread is that quintesson metal is a mix of corrosive, sentient, and corrupting. so these poor little meow meows are going through it!

Summary
Prowl could have been having a much worse day. (75%.)
Prowl could have also been having a much better day. (43.8%.)Overall, his day was approaching ‘not great.’
You could make a case for said ‘not great’-ness starting when he first accidentally warped into an experimental Quintesson weapons base with violently angry little foot soldiers that seemed to have a love for biting at anything they could reach, but Prowl really considered it starting when the unfamiliar mech limped at unsafe speeds into the desecrated room with him.
