Izuku sighed, and then realized he produced bubbles when he did that. The discovery made him giggle. Katsuki must have glared at him despite being half slumped in the water.
“Sorry. Bubbles.”
“Bubbles?” Katsuki asked in an annoyed tone.
“Yeah…uhh - I sighed and… and it… just, just look.” He did it again.
Katsuki stared at him for a moment. So, Izuku sighed again, but this time he managed to force the bubbled from his neck gills only. It tickled, which triggered another round of giggles.
“Oh my god, you’re actually a fucking idiot.”

This time, they're chained to an anchor offshore, and given a week to get back to the surface before the quirk allowing them to breathe underwater wears off. Despite being quirkless and definitely not a hero, Izuku Midoriya is still targeted by the League, sometimes more so than the heroes themselves. He wouldn’t say he was anything special, but these types of things happened for a reason. Is having villains attempt to kidnap you almost weekly the punishment for choosing the path of being a top analyzer in quirks and strategy? Did he ask for this indirectly via his career? Probably. Did that mean that he was alright with being targeted like this? No, not really.
While grateful for the insistence (from his superiors) that he has a bodyguard to protect him, did it have to be the Symbol of Victory? Ground Zero was already gonna kill him for overworking himself as it was.

He chooses a treadmill that's at the other side of the room to get started. Izuku takes a deep breath, relaxes, and closes his eyes for a few seconds until he hears someone pressing buttons on the treadmill next to him.
He almost falls off when he notices Dynamight. However, Izuku recovers quickly and decides to pretend nothing happened.
Although he swears he can feel the blond's red eyes on him the whole time.
After a while, he goes to one of the leg press machines before he notices that Dynamight is following him closely.
"You work for Hatsume."
Alright, now that he's talking to him, Izuku can't keep pretending he doesn't exist so he turns around to face him. The guy is not only taller but clearly stronger than him.
"Yes, I'm–"
"Midoriya Izuku, I know," Dynamight cuts him off, looking like he didn't mean to. His face turns a little bit pink.
