Jazz couldn’t even get the clearance to have Bebop’s visor display emojis, and not for the lack of trying. Meanwhile, this guy gets a whole, expressive face and—holy shit, are those teeth?

Summary
Optimus was trapped; he gripped his drink tighter as he fought to stop his combat protocols engaging. There was nothing to do and nowhere to go. All eyes were on him as Megatron finally ceased his march. His eyes glowed with a delight that only ever meant trouble. Optimus steeled himself, knocked back the last of his drink, and stood to meet his opponent.

Optimus needs to get out and talk to someone. Megatron needs to talk to anyone other than Soundwave. Somehow, they both end up at a Veterans’ Speed Dating event. Things can only go well.

Summary
Sparked a warrior, Megatron retires from the military after campaigning successfully off-world only to discover prejudice at home. He starts a movement to stir up change, writing to anyone he thinks might support their cause including Optimus Prime, the newly chosen Prime struggling to overcome a power imbalance between the Temple and the Senate created by his predecessor. Destiny brings them together and time brings them closer, but there are obstacles that would keep them apart - obstacles that can only be overcome through the Festival of the Five.
