Summary

Maybe he was envious of Higuruma in that way, for putting duty over himself.
Nanami could taste him on his tongue still, their lips only seconds apart, the tips of their noses ghosting over one another.
Each spit coated stroke Nanami made was accompanied by Higuruma’s hitched breaths.
“You look so sad,” Nanami whispered.
“I’m… I’m not,” he softly uttered back. “Not right now.”
