Dick goes to the store to tell Jason when he walks into a robbery. Jason does ninja move and defears the robber and goes 'wtf'. Jason figures out Dick knows him and pieces parts of memory that he is Robin. Ends with them going to deal with knocked out robber.

Summary
Jason Todd Green Lantern AU set after Jason first came back from the dead. Will probably end up blurring the lines between his pre and post-death characterisations since I wanted to explore how things might have gone differently if he was allowed to recover from his injuries and trauma more gradually with a decent support system around him.
Please don't ask me where in canon continuity this takes place. Right now it's in some strange nebulous Lost Days-era yet post-Green Lantern Rebirth purgatory. My only justification is I wanted Kyle in this more than I wanted the timeline to make sense.

At first glance Thomas was sure the victim was already long gone, just a burned, mangled husk attached to tubes and wires. But he was shocked to see that the heart monitor was slowly beeping. “What happened?” Thomas immediately questioned. “There was an explosion in an abandoned building around Park Row. He was found in the rubble. He was resuscitated on the scene and coded once in the ambulance. Aside from severe burns, broken bones and trauma the worst injury seems to be a wound at his throat caused by a sharp object.” They rattled off more information as Thomas quickly prepped for surgery. Every second was going to have to count to save this one.

Jason dies in the explosion after his throat is cut by Batman's batarang. But somehow he wakes up he in an alternate universe where Thomas and Martha Wayne didn't die, and Bruce never became Batman. Lost and alone Jason struggles with his injuries and his own existence, but the Waynes are determined to help him every step of the way. Jason finds himself the pseudo older brother to a teenage Dick and a baby Damian. Little do the Wayne's know that Jason has a knack for "adopting" kids. He starts with his own tiny counterpart.

During the "kidnap the Joker and make Batman kill him" charade, Jason gets sent to an AU where Bruce's parents are alive, there's no batman or robin and a lot villains aren't villains and gotham is just safer. Dick is still adopted and Bruce and Talia are married and just gave birth to baby Damian. Jason becomes deaf and mute and gets moved to the manor and recovers there. Jason takes baby Jace to see Catherine right before she dies of cancer. Jace also moves to the manor. Jason's original dimension's Bruce is trying to get Jason back while keeping it a secret from Dick and Tim but Tim finds out by snooping. Baby Tim is still a stalker and apparently lives with a monster??? Ends with Jason getting a fever and baby Jace taking care of him.

His cheeks and chin still have that leftover bit of acne. His arms are wrapped around Dick, holding him close, mashing the side of his face against the horrible denim jacket the man is wearing. They’re someplace cold judging by the heavy jacket draped across Jason’s shoulders in the picture but for the life of him, he can’t remember.

Dick liked to think he had a pretty good handle on the whole ‘big brother’ thing by now, even if Tim still saw sleep as optional and Damian still got a little stabby when a hug lasted too long.
But then Damian’s other big brother comes to town, mysterious and red-helmeted and oddly familiar, and seems to want nothing to do with the Bats sans Damian.
