Flash terrorizes Peter on a regular basis. Peter is used to letting Flash walk all over him because it's easier to stand down and let Flash be a jerk than to risk getting slugged. Flash enjoys the power he has over Peter and he decides to push it, to see how far he can go.

Summary
His body did this chore for him - taking a beating, painfully building muscles - and in reward he got his father’s approval. In much lesser reward he also got his mama’s worry, which, while he loved her care, he wished she would worry less. Wished she could see that he knew the way the world worked and he could fit into it. Wished she would not remind him that she loved her gentle Ilyushenka and that he did not need to hide, not from her.

“You know,” Sebastian ran a delicate finger up Lister’s arm. “We could get out of here if you want. Find somewhere more private to… talk.”
Lister’s stomach rolled at the contact, but he held himself together. Despite what the media, or anyone else, might have thought, Lister wasn’t one for casual hookups. Or hookups in general. Sex wasn’t all that appealing to him.
This could be good, though, having someone to get his mind off of Jimmy, and all the ways he was stuck in unrequited-love-hell. Nevermind that Sebastian probably— definitely— didn’t care about anything other than that Lister was kind of hot and very famous. At least he was interested. That had to count for something.
