Carmen halted just a few steps away from him, and Venti was struck to how incredibly similar his appearance was to how he had looked during the rebellion. In fact, he looked identical, from the dirty brown cape, through the torn, off-white sleeves of his shirt peeking out from beneath the darker cloth of wool and the shoes that seemed to break down just a little more the more you stared at them, right up to his black hair carefully braided to keep it from being ripped by the storm.
After Albedo created a new form for Mini Durin, the effects of his alchemy lingered in the air, unnoticed as things slowly return to normal in Mondstadt. But noticed or not, the remains of the experiment don't just diffuse, they continue working on their own towards the goal they were made for- creating new life and reawakening old.

“Honestly, Alexander, why would you let yourself get in such a state?” She fussed over him, pulling the coat off and putting it away.
“You come back in the darkest hours of the morning, dripping all over the floors, fighting with your clothes, making such a racket I’m surprised the whole house hasn’t woken up-”
“It’s morning already?” Alexander interrupted in surprise.
“Yes it’s morning, you idiot!” Eliza glared at him, though her eyes betrayed her worry.
“You’re shivering, Alexander.” She noticed.
“Am I?” He glanced down at himself uncertainly.
“I didn’t notice.”Alexander stays in work far too late, as usual. Except this time it's freezing and snowing on his way back, which results in his arrival home in a...worse shape than usual. Eliza honestly deserves an award.

“Did you come for any important reason?” Washington asked, trying to convey urgency into his tone and hoping that it would give away his meaning well enough. It didn’t seem to work, as Lafayette only looked confused, tilting his head to the side slightly like an uncertain puppy. He opened his mouth and then closed it again, before taking a deep breath through his nose as though he were steeling his nerves for a task that scared him greatly. Perhaps he was. Then-
“Je suis vraiment désolé de vous déranger si vous êtes occupé, monsieur le Général ! Mais je voulais parler un peu, et avec cette tempête il n’y a rien à faire… alors, si cela ne vous importune pas, je souhaiterais passer un moment en votre compagnie? Je partirai bien sûr si je vous gêne!”Lafayette just wants to spend some time with Washington, except neither of them understand each other. (There are translations for the French in the author's notes at the end, don't worry. Although if you read it without the translations first, maybe you'll get poor Washington's confusion, so that could work too.)

Ed felt the cold before he had even properly woken up. It crept through the cracks in the door, sneaking across the flat and seeping into his bed, passing through his nightshirt and into his bones.
He groaned as he wrapped himself tightly in his quilt, trying to defend himself against the invading chill.
It should be impossible for it to get this cold.Literally just Al trying to get Ed to get up when it's cold. Takes place some time after the end of Conqueror of Shamballa.

Summary
Beginning before "Say No To This" but after "Cabinet Battle #1." Events/season changed for the purpose of the story.
It's winter time and Alexander Hamilton is not having a good time. There was so much pressure - he needed to pass his debt plan, but wasn't getting anywhere with Thomas Jefferson or James Madison. His wife was gone with the children to Albany. He forgets to eat. Doesn't sleep. To top it all off, he has to walk back home in the cold after a freak snowstorm.
How could it get any worse?
