Harry appears in Tom’s dreams and hallucinations, like a saint sent down from heaven. They were two saints carved with too much love, two perfect souls who did not deserve earth.
Tom was the child with a demon mind, they had said. That must have meant Harry was the angel coming down to save him. They were perfect. Nothing but the break of day could separate them.
Tom later learns homosexuality is a sin.

The war was over, the wizarding world was now at peace.
But not everything was perfect, Lord Voldemort was back, but with one difference: he came back as a ghost, who is trapped with the only person he ever wanted.
The plan is simple, make Harry like him to the point that he signs the marriage contract. But there is a detail, it is not a marriage contract, it is something ancient imposed by dark wizards. If a ghost can get someone to sign it, he will come back to life.
Falling in love with the boy who lived was not in the plans.
