Summary
I noticed that there were no Noelle Knight AUs floating around on the archive, so here's your premium rare steak. This AU will combine aspects of several different knight theories into one in order to kind of make Noelle Knight work as a concept. It is experimental and will be a radical departure from the canon Knight. After the final chapter, there will be a list of bullet list of notes for anyone who is curious about the specifics of the AU.
Note: While this fic does contain Suselle, it is very frought what with Noelle being the knight and Susie not knowing it's her under the helmet until probably chapter 5. It has serious doomed/tragic yuri vibes, so beware. Also I'm not a kriselle hater by any means, but they get the short end of the stick in this AU. If you want to write in it, I would probably suggest making Kris work with the knight again if you like that ship.

Summary
Noelle Holiday's Christmas list has never been that long. She might ask for a game or a new album, but other than that? She usually asks for nothing other than for her big sister Dess to come back home.
The memory is distant - a foggy recollection. All she knows is that one loud November night, Dess left, and she didn't come back. Mr. Asgore didn't find her. For seven years the trail has been dead, with the only lead being a locked bunker door south of Hometown that hasn't been opened in years.
But Noelle hasn't lost hope. If those doors ever open, she'll be the one to bring her sister out, and when they mysteriously do, Noelle's fate is set in stone.
The depths of the bunker are no place for a little girl.

Heads up: this is my first earnestly made fanfiction! While a lot of it is planned out, this was originally meant to be a quick crackfic with Noelle basically being an Alan Wake protagonist. Theeen I got carried away. Now you get to watch me descend into madness as every chapter gets longer than the last!
