Summary
Hinata notes that he seems educated. Well-mannered and well-spoken, he’d assume this man has had some level of formal education. He seems young, around his own age, which makes it hard to believe Owari’s claims that this is the infamous Nagito Komaeda. Nevertheless, he doesn't let his guard down, gaze always returning to the other’s hands, just in case it flies for a gun.

Summary
Opening his eyes, he gently turns his head upward to look where that familiar, raspy voice originated. White hair, backlit by sharp fluorescent lights, provides a clinical halo around Komaeda’s head. He’s changed, both a lot and hardly at all. He’s unmistakably the same man, but older. He looks different, physically and otherwise. It’s been a long time since they were fifteen. It’s been a long time since they attended the same high school.
TLDR; Hinata and Komaeda reunite after a troubled past, where they proceed to have a troubled present and future.

Summary
Typical of Komaeda to wilt at the slightest sign of rejection. Even if it’s something as slight as a pursing of his lips or a draw of his brows. He’s confusing, there’s no question about that, but Komaeda fails to mask his expressions. It was the only way Hinata had any inkling of what could possibly be running through Komaeda’s mind back on that island. Back when they were renewed strangers.
“Well, for starters, you just decided you want a tattoo! I can’t do it immediately, I have no stencil. I don’t have anything set up.” Hinata crosses his arms, resting his hip on the ledge of the desk. “Can’t you wait?”
“Oh, Hinata,” he begins, a light smile offering forewarning. “You know I lack patience.”Or, Hinata is a tattoo artist, and Komaeda wants one.

Summary
Not him, though. Maybe that line of thinking is what will kill him. Komaeda could very well be a predator, docile until hungry. Then, Hinata will pay the price for sticking his hand in the cage. As for now, he can’t fathom the idea of what was once his friend killing someone.
“Do you hate me, Hinata?” A voice finally breaks through.

Summary
Komaeda, for what little he’s worth, never expected Hinata to invite him in. When he knocked on the heavy door, he was surprised to get an answer. He thought Hinata would make him beg. He was ready to drop to his knees, plead, and grip Hinata’s pants to keep the door from shutting in his face.
