"Do you mind if I fuck you now?" Naruto asked, breathless, against Sasuke's skin. What was it about him that smelled so good? Warm, like coriander seeds or sweet liquorice. It was addictive.
"I thought you'd fuck me on Friday." Sasuke's voice was soft, but there was something careful underneath it. He leaned up to kiss Naruto's mouth. "When I arrived."
Naruto slid his tongue past Sasuke's lips, savouring the way it made him groan, the way his fingers tightened on Naruto's shoulders. "You'd just landed," he murmured. "We had the concert that night, I thought Nej would start asking questions if I just disappeared."
"Yeah, but—" Sasuke pulled back from the kiss, his grey eyes searching Naruto's face. "Isn't that what groupies do? Fly out for the weekend? That’s not suspicious is it?"
Naruto blinked at him, confused. Then sharp and questioning.
“Who said you were a groupie?”

Summary
“Who’s there?” Sasuke calls, trying to sound less uneasy than he is.
Lightning flashes outside, and it’s all he needs to get a brief glimpse of the figure looming on the staircase. There's a moment where he's stuck, paralyzed with fear. Then the monster takes a step towards him, and Sasuke’s brain restarts. He flinches away, letting out an awful, panicked noise against his will, and turns to run away — completely forgetting about his injured ankle.
He takes one step and falls almost immediately. He scrambles to get back up. It’s too late. The monster is on him, reaching out with a large, clawed hand to turn him onto his back with an easy, terrifying strength. The monster leans into his space, looking him in the face, and Sasuke takes in the size of it, of its fangs—
It’ll kill me, he thinks. All that running and I’ll die out here anyway. He turns his face away, not wanting to see when the beast makes its move.
Then, in a voice softer than anything Sasuke could imagine, the monster talks.
“Are you real?”

At least, that was what he'd been certain of – until one night, when a stubborn, loud, and impossibly warm human appeared on his doorstep, begging for help.
He could've killed him with a spare of his hand. He could've drained him dry and left him to rot alongside the other bodies. Instead, he took him into his arms and brought him inside.
