Things didn't exactly go to plan.
OR: spirited away from the fire nation by their mother and abandoned to a life of poverty and running, zuko and azula learn to manage. right until the avatar and his friends drop way too cheerfully into their life, and the war returns to them in earnest. a story of hope, hardship and learning to believe in humanity again. zuko wants absolutely nothing to do with it, thank you.

Summary
Eons ago, Watchers and Listeners formed a union called the Preservers Alliance. They are joined by a shared goal that not many know the real meaning of.
As a part of their research, one of the Watchers established an event called the Life games. A group of Watchers, Listeners and normal humans take part in games, which rules constantly change and their lives are always on the line. Summary
Martyn took a deep breath as he walked out the forestry and into the open, just in front of large wooden walls that separate a desolated and cursed town from the rest of the world, where he will find loss, grief and connections he’ll bring with himself his entire life.
The story may be familiar, but one character has changed. The young warrior is lying about his past, but this time his reason is incredibly different. This time, he carries with him and hides the pain of a thousand lives, of long grief and of suffering.
