Summary
I have decided that from now on, whenever creative brain goes rogue and deletes things, I will be saving those to add to this. Which means sometimes you will get some scenes that are short, and sometimes you will be getting an entire work of fiction (or most of one) that I had typed out and ended up choosing to go a different direction with! This will be a collection for all fandoms (once my brain lets me write more than Rebels fics) so eventually you'll see more and more added to it! Just a way to get out some stuff I wrote that I liked but ultimately decided wouldn't work. And a way for me to have active work while I'm working on fighting creative brain!

From the other side of their muddy battlefield Hunith watched in almost slow motion as her son pushed his childhood best friend out of the way and blocked the fateful path of the flying arrow before it hit the Prince.
The world stood still. A silence filled moment that seemed to stretch forever. Then there was movement all around her all the villagers rushed forward, watching as Arthur gave an almost feral battle cry as he drove his sword through Kanen’s chest, finally defeating their last remaining enemy.

He was all too aware in that moment that he wasn’t simply a man trying to strike a bargain, he was also a King. All eyes were on him and he needed to behave accordingly; with composure, with dignity, with no overly-apparent special treatment for a servant of all people.
