Summary
Taken in under Fukuzawa's, the god of the harvest, wing in his youth, Atsushi, god of flowers and tigers, was a sheltered god. Though he made the fields his foster father grew ever more beautiful with his flowers, the air always warm, Atsushi still felt confined, frustrated, and lonely.
Loneliness brings those of a similar flock together.
Even those that live and rule amongst the dead.

Summary
Most people didn't manifest the mark of their soulmate right away. Oh, sure, it happened – it had happened with Lucifer, before anyone had known what a soulmate even was, before anyone had realised such a thing was possible for angels – but it was pretty uncommon.
And it was absolutely possible for it to break – or fade. It was pretty unlikely on Earth, hardly ever happened during the span of a regular human life – but when the souls in question were immortal? Yeah, sometimes things changed. Relationships grew distant, love degraded. Once you'd experienced the bond fading – or worse, breaking? – no, most people were a little wary about throwing themselves into a new relationship.
*
Lucifer has experienced having a soulmate. Alastor has never been interested in the concept. Something is dreadfully wrong, because Lucifer is seeing shadows move out of the corner of his eye - and Alastor's claws are glowing golden.
Shit.

Summary
Tobey has never had a problem juggling the two halves of his life, villainy and school; nor has he ever set his heart on anyone besides his darling WordGirl. That is, until he begins to take notice of a certain academic rival of his from class, and hatred quickly leads to something completely different. But what will become of his infatuation when it’s split between two entirely different people, from entirely different parts of his life?
—-
Tobey only hums, attempting to “be cool” as he straightens the collar of his sweater. “I’d prefer to think of this as more of an outing than a rampage. Why? Getting tired of me already, my dear WordGirl?”
“Don’t call me that,” she responds flatly before shaking her head with a long-winded sigh. “I miss when you were ten and actually at least attempted to hide your infatuation with me.”

Summary
Sir Michael assesses them both. He seems to accept whatever he finds, nodding slowly. “I see. My apologies, it seems I have gotten ahead of myself. For how long have you two been courting, then?”
Someone chokes behind them, and for a second, Mike honestly thinks he’s misheard him. The look on his face is dead serious, though, stoic in a way that makes it very clear he’s not joking.
“What?” he croaks. He looks over at Will, who looks just as caught off guard as he feels.
“You need not be shy,” Michael reassures them, back straightening. “I, too, was hesitant when William and I first began our courtship. I understand.”
When Mike’s doppelgänger shows up dressed like something straight out of one of their D&D campaigns, Mike thinks he ought to be thrilled. There are alternate universes. There are alternate universes with knights and wizards and dragons. And, honestly, Mike probably would be thrilled, under normal circumstances. The guy is just so weird about him and Will.
