Summary
You had always been adored and dotted on by your father. You were the Princess of Asgarnid. Your kingdom was allied with the kingdom of Midland. You dear friend was Princess Charlotte. To the public eye, you were just like any Princess. However, your heritage would cause controversy. You were a nymph/half human. Your father was the King of Asgarnid. Your mother was a nameless fire nymph that crossed paths with your father during one of the kingdom's festivals for the summer. You were a bastard child, but your father loved you and your mother dearly.
You grew up as the princess, having two older brothers, you were no where near getting the throne. After your father's death, your older brother becomes King. He always hated for you not being human. He sent you on a crucial mission to infiltrate Falconia and report back to him. Upon you doing so, you cross paths with the infamous Griffith, the leader of the Band of the Hawks. What will occur when he becomes infatuated with you? You play your role, right into the Queen's Gambit.

After leaving the band of the Hawk, a lot of things changed for you. You entered a new world. One filled with demons beyond your comprehension. Creatures you have yet to understand.One thing you did understand was that they needed to be expelled from this world. In it all, and after years, your old friend has returned. New and improved. What secrets does he hold? Why now has he come to find you? Why did he find you? He had changed so much. However, the one thing that hasn't changed....his obsession, desire, and complicated feelings for you.

You know that name well.
His name had always been above yours, beating you by just a sliver each time. It had to be prejudice. It had to be sexism. You were just as brilliant as he was you just didn’t have the opportunity or the supportive family that he did. You hate that he’s able to pursue his dream while you have to let your dreams be merely dreams while you pour coffee to truckers who don’t care for your degree. You hate him and you hate your life and maybe that’s why you’re so quick to answer his call. Maybe that’s the reason you make the move to Oregon as soon as says he needs your help. Maybe you’re just looking for a chance to prove your worth to the world, to do something worthwhile with your life.
Maybe you just want a chance to top Stanford Fucking Pines.
