Summary
When Rocky wakes up after Adrian, he's relieved they're both alive, but immediately knows that something is off with Grace. He's having trouble breathing, sleeping a lot, and spiking fevers. As much as Grace wants to blame it on lung irritation from the ammonia in Rocky's atmosphere, Rocky knows he's downplaying it, and it's not going to work.
However, before he can actually do anything about it, the ship's power goes out. Taumoeba have gotten into the fuel and eaten all the astrophage, leaving them with no choice but to steal from the beetles.
Which are on the outside of the ship.
Which means two EVAs and a lot of lab work for Grace, all while his condition declines from what's quickly turning into a serious health problem. All Rocky can do is make sure he has what he needs and try to take care of him as best he can from afar, hoping they can get to safety before Grace's health is too fragile to recover.Bookmarked by FermadaAdInfinity

Summary
Loki's plans to drop Odin in a home for the elderly unfortunately get interrupted by Thor. During the ensuing fight, a magical artifact gets broken that wipes out Thor's memory of the past 300 years. Confused and disoriented, Thor battles the arriving Avengers and threatens to slaughter innocent mortals to the dozens as well. But Loki, afraid of alerting Heimdall to what was happening, persuades Thor to go with the Avengers peacefully. Thor agrees, but he naturally assumes that Loki would be part of the group as well, because -of course- Loki would always follow where Thor went, right?
So now the Avengers and Loki are stuck pretending Loki is also part of the group until Thor’s memories return. A totally simple plan with zero chance of anything going wrong. Really. Well, at least that's what Loki's trying to tell himself.

This is a tale of the love between Mother and Son through suffering and hardship.

Thor shifted. Just a twitch. A small one. The kind of movement you made when your body dreamed of warmth and reached for it before your mind caught up. He mumbled something against his arm. Then his eyes cracked open. They glowed blue in the darkness of the room, not with lightning, but the blue of the sky they would gaze up to together. It’s the same blue as their mother’s eyes.
He smiled. “Loki?” he murmured, voice hoarse and drowsy. “What’re you doing here?” That was all. Not a startle. Not a shout. No reaching for a weapon or calling for guards. Just his name, spoken like it was something soft, something safe, followed by a stupid, sleepy smile.
And Loki- Loki shattered.

He'd thought that he was determined enough. That he had killed off any sympathy that might have started growing in his soul for these two creatures, but the damn near permanent loss of Subject 1 had proven him wrong once again.
There would be a lot for him to think about tonight.

It would appear Loki’s unique ancestry provided some immunity from the illness sweeping the ship. It seemed Bruce was also to remain unaffected, though Loki suspected this was by virtue of the green beast’s robust nature rather than the plucky resilience common to most humans.
They obviously had that in common, the two of them. The unlooked-for protection of monster’s blood. The native resistance of animals. The unclean fortitude of beasts.

Thor doesn't understand what he did to drive his brother to this, but if murder will make him feel better, he will let Loki take his life as long as he spares everyone else's.
For a moment, he thinks Loki will follow through.
Instead, Loki appears in front of him, terrified, with tears in his eyes, and Thor's life is the last thing on his mind.

Summary
Beginning before "Say No To This" but after "Cabinet Battle #1." Events/season changed for the purpose of the story.
It's winter time and Alexander Hamilton is not having a good time. There was so much pressure - he needed to pass his debt plan, but wasn't getting anywhere with Thomas Jefferson or James Madison. His wife was gone with the children to Albany. He forgets to eat. Doesn't sleep. To top it all off, he has to walk back home in the cold after a freak snowstorm.
How could it get any worse?
